Have you done any market research? Most MLMs do not make money &/or are total scams. Not recommended.

A successful MLM / Network Marketing Company typically has one key element:

A consumable product. Products like vitamins and nutritional supplements, beverages, cosmetics, etc. Anything that a consumer uses on a regular basis and will consume during a specific period, so they will continue to purchase from your company. Companies that incorporate Home Parties into their business plan tend to be very successful as well.

Avoid referring to the business as “MLM” or “Network Marketing”, they tend to convey a sense of pyramid scheme to the average person. The more ‘politically correct’ term is usually Direct Sales.

There is a recent poll on Repspace.com on what consumers feel is the best product line for business and rep success, and nutritionals / nutriceuticals won hands down.

You can also go to a site like MLMRankings.com and look at the top 10 most successful companies and will see that most are either nutritional companies, or home party companies.

Good luck with your venture.

The wellness industry is booming. People are either unhealthy, and are looking for better health or they are already healthy and looking for better products to keep it that way. I love MLM because it produces residual income. I’m currently a distributor for MonaVie which hands down is the best nutritional beverage on the market right now, so the company has grown to a billion dollars in sales with in 3 yrs.
Good luck!

The health industry is indeed huge, especially weight loss related products are selling like hot cookies. It’s literally a billion dollar industry.

Even though a good product is necessary, you should also look at how you’re going to build a downline, which is where the real money is.

It’s very important to brand yourself instead of your company. People don’t buy from a company, they buy from a person they like or look up to. Make sure you are that person.

You can get a free video training on how to do this at

Don’t fall for the old school methods of network marketing like cold-calling and signing up friends and family. Learn to target people who actually have a problem that your product will solve.

Good luck!

Consumable products are the drivers behind most successful MLM companies.

You will find the greatest success with a product that is the answer to a need people already have. Although the health and wellness industry seems to be popular, it’s not necessarily the best decision for a choosing a product.

The problem with selling lotions, potions, pills and juice is that you first have to sell them and why they NEED that specific product and then you have to sell them again on the product itself.

Why do twice the work? Isn’t running your own business hard enough without complicating it?

Wishing you the best,
