Ug, there is always one fool in every crowd. MEXICO4ME says "you people are uneducated in marketing"

In what marketing text is MLM even mentioned? MLM is marketing in name only, unless you consider marketing pedaling unsaleable products to your friends and neighbors. That is merely door to door sales that went out as a viable marketing tool a couple generations ago.

MLM is a group of sorry people who think they can sell or who think the secret to success is finding other people who will sell in their downline and get them instant riches. So sure, its legal, so is selling lemonade on the side of the road, but its not going to ever make you rich.

The reason no one will ever prove the numbers you seek is because they don't exist. Think about it, if they were making any money, they would jump at the chance to prove it. Only the clueless person in MLM doesn't see the obviousness of this.

Classic MLM responses avoiding the actual questions.

The question clearly went right over the head of The_egold who is clearly naive enough to think that people can sign up people indefinitely. Do the math The_egold...even a 2x2 matrix gets into the billions of people within 30 levels, so either you are dumb enough to think that everyone on the planet will get into your downline and stay there, or you don't understand the math.

Mexico4me will never answer the questions because the best she can do is offer a staw man argument. Let's analyze:

Asking WalMart to prove they will sell massive amounts of products? Anyone with a clue would know that if you were going to buy a WalMart franchise, they HAVE to open their books for you showing income and expenses and their marketing. Its called due dilligience, a term those in MLM probably have never heard of.

All of the sudden her and her upline have paychecks, not business incomes. If anyone with a clue (obviously non MLMers) are getting into a business already in operation, you look at those numbers and anyone who has ever sold a legit business knows that again under due diligence you share the numbers. Only in MLM would they expect you to believe what they "say" instead of what they can "show" as fact.

Mexico4me will tell you its ridiculous to see the numbers...and thats because she has a false sense of entrepreneurship common in MLM (essentially a total lack of any business intelligience). Ask yourself, what is more ridiculous than MLM people saying all these outrageous claims about how much money they make yet never being able to prove it, and then having the audacity to try to convince you its a good business. Anyone who actually has any business background at all knows that solid business stands on it own.

Mexico4me then rants on about not asking for the CEO's salary and so forth, well that is because you are not getting a salary in MLM. MLMers like this fool like to try to turn the tables by suggesting its a salary and suddenly private instead of a business opportunity. Its not both...you are either taking a financial risk opening a business or you are getting a job. MLMers don't seem to get that. if she want's to give you a paycheck, then ok, her financial statement is private. But she wants you to be in business with her, and suddnelty her info is private? Gimme a break!

She goes on, "Can you prove to me what everyone in the company you work for is making?" Well, if you want to buy my business I will have to show you EXACTLY what everyone is making. What does this have to do with MLMers refusing to prove any of their ridiculous claims?

She unintelligently continues, "but I want solid proof of exactly how much of your product or service is moving..." Gee, in business, we call that an income statement, and if you are going to be in business with me, it would be naive if you DIDN'T ask for it. Not in MLM of course where those numbers are "private".

If anyone reading this thinks the MLM rants such as Mexico4me are anything less than absurd, then you should join right up imedietley in MLM because then you can align yourself with other naive people that have stupidity and/or deception as common traits.

You people are so uneducated in marketing.
I'm not sure what you're not understanding here....it's marketing.
Plain and simple.
Have you asked at Walmart for them to PROVE that they sell massive amounts of products to people who are not reps, and to PROVE people who work there are earning money?
How exactly do you expect someone to PROVE this on Yahoo Answers?
Would you like me and my entire upline to maybe fax you copies of our paycheques? Should I ask the owner of our company to maybe fax you a copy of EXACTLY how much product was moved and how many people it took to do it? Maybe I can ask my downline group of 89 people to send you a copy of their earnings?
What you are asking here is just ridiculous. If you really want to know, I guess you will have to contact the owner of the company for exact sales figures/product moved.
If you were to hire someone at whatever company you work for, would you have the salaries of the CEO, management team, and employees all ready for your new candidate to look over before they chose to work with you or not? I kind of doubt it.

Can you prove to me what everyone in the company you work for is making? I'll bet not. If I'm wrong, you prove it to me and then I will do the same for you.... but I want solid proof of exactly how much of your product or service is moving, exactly how much the company itself is making off of all the employees efforts, and you might as well throw in how much residual income you are all earning....I would love to know that.

Can you actually do this?

I would have no agree and disagree with Gerald. While its true that MLM get paid on there products no matter where you are placed in the business structure, if you will ( pyramid) you will and can make alot of money.
Instead of a company spending millions of dollars advertising there products they will use that millions to pay you to advertise for them.
Lets say I signed you up in a MLM, well you are at the top of your own pyramid, if you will. The people who you sign on to join your team and hense you will make money off there efforts.
You will be making money from them as well as all your customers who shoose not to join the business aspect of it.
I have a personal feeling that all business are involved in MLM to a degree.
McDonalds, Target, WalMart, Gas Stations etc......

No MLM company makes money on the product. All the money is in selling distributorships to more and more levels of people. The only ones that end up with money are the ones that started the scheme. Everyone else one way of another, gets screwed.
